  • This is a solid daycare option. We have had two children through this center. Pros are the teachers and the benefits of corporate ownership. The teachers have been great - of the 30-35 staff I have gotten to know here, there was really only one I didn't care for and even she was fine. The corporate ownership ensures rigor around the safety codes and training, so you know they are compliant. Also, schedule - they don't close for anything - only the most severe weather. Cons are the price and the food - at one point we were paying about $45k/year for an infant and a Pre-K child to be there, but this may be the going rate. The food is a cafeteria caricature - have seen fruit for breakfast maybe 4 times in 5 years. Grey meat products, pears in sugary syrup, canned peas, etc. Last point to mention is the Center Director. She is fair, eventually, and I believe she cares for the children's safety, but I think there are some cultural barriers, particularly on ideas about customer service that make dealing with her challenging sometimes. Other parents I have spoken with feel similarly. Also, there often is not great communication around when children will be moving from one class to the next both to the parents and between the Director and the teachers. In one case, the school failed to tell us that we needed to give permission to start providing center food when our child moved from the infant room to the next class. After a few days we saw one of our child's main care givers (not usually there at pick-up or drop off) who was begging us to give permission because our child didn't have enough to eat at school. That was a low point across 5 pretty good years, but is an example of what seems to be a pain point for them
